Two things Millie hates: early mornings and school. The first is understandable; the second is obvious, especially if at school her classmates do nothing but talk about their dogs... they even created the DOGS club! And she has no dog to bring to tea time.
At least until, in a shelter, Millie finds the perfect dog. Well, perfect for her.
